WHAT DOES A TYPICAL WEDDING CEREMONY LOOK LIKE?

 

Without a doubt, it is the full flexibility of choosing your style that makes your wedding ceremony special. There are no restrictions or guidelines. The only thing that matters is you being satisfied and happy with the outcome. However, please find below a sample ceremony for your inspiration:

⁃ Welcoming of the couple and the guests 

⁃ The couple's history

⁃ Wedding ritual (incl. wedding vows and exchanging of rings)

⁃ Reading (poem or short text) 

⁃ Congratulations and wishes for the wedding couple

IS IT POSSIBLE TO COMBINE THE WEDDING CEREMONY WITH A CIVIL WEDDING?

 

Absolutely! It can be a great idea to include the official part of the wedding into the ceremony and to invite the local registrar to officiate your marriage at the same time. Please note that some but not all registry offices offer civil weddings outside their premises. I would suggest talking to your local office well in advance in order to check out your options.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO COMBINE THE WEDDING CEREMONY WITH A RELIGIOUS WEDDING?

 

Yes, I will be more than happy to hold the ceremony together with a representative of any religion. During your wedding ceremony, everything should be just the way you want it and as individual as you are as a couple.

WILL OUR MARRIAGE BE LEGALLY VALID AFTER THE WEDDING CEREMONY?

 

In Austria you always need a registrar from a local registry office in order to get officially married. This kind of wedding ceremony is usually not about the legal act of a wedding. It is rather about the promise between two people to give each other love and trust, and the true, deep desire to spend the rest of their lives together as a married couple.

IN WHAT LANGUAGES DO YOU HOLD THE WEDDING CEREMONY?

The wedding ceremony can be held in German and English. However, parts of the ceremony can be held in French or Russian as well.

WHERE DOES THE WEDDING CEREMONY USUALLY TAKE PLACE?

 

The wedding ceremony should always take place at the location of your choice. This location might be in Austria or abroad, outdoors or at your favorite restaurant, in the air or under water. Whatever your wishes and expectations might be, together we make sure that your wedding ceremony is perfect for you.

HOW MUCH DOES THE WEDDING CEREMONY COST?

 

The price for a typical wedding ceremony will be 1.150,00 EUR including all meetings and preparations, travel expenses (within Vienna) and (if you like) printed wedding certificates. The final price will be calculated after our first meeting and depends on the actual location of the ceremony and other requests (e.g. sound system, etc.).
